At Aventra, security isn’t just a priority – it’s the cornerstone of our operations. With the ever-expanding reach of social media channels and the advancing role of artificial intelligence, concerns about information security and identity management have never been more pressing. We can no longer afford to turn a blind eye to these threats; it’s time for concrete action.
That’s why we’re proud to announce a significant shift in our approach, effective April 1, 2024. All Aventra employees have bid farewell to their smartphones, opting instead for traditional communicators. Likewise, laptops have been replaced with sturdy IBM desktop computers and floppy discs. These changes aren’t just about embracing nostalgia; they’re about ensuring that the sensitive data we handle remains secure and out of the wrong hands.
Our CEO, Jan Sjöblom affirms, ‘Our priority is clear: protect our operations and uphold our clients’ trust.’ And that’s precisely what this transition achieves.
Our employees have reacted very positively to the change. Many are welcoming the shift, seeing it as a return to reliable technologies that prioritize security over convenience. Some of our employees have even ended up changing their leisure smart devices to these more secure alternatives.
One of the employees states, ‘In an era of digital uncertainty, reverting to trusted tools feels like a step in the right direction.
We’re not just making changes for the sake of it. We’re setting a new standard in data protection. By taking proactive steps to fortify our digital infrastructure, we hope to inspire others in our industry to do the same.
